There are events… and then there are moments where the craft breathes again.
BarberSociety Live, 10th edition — that was one of those moments.
The night before, we sat down together. No stage, no pressure. Just a table, good food, and people who live the same obsession. A Spanish restaurant, voices crossing languages, stories flowing like wine. Mark and Miranda set the tone perfectly — honest, warm, no bullshit. Just barbers being barbers.
The next day, everything changed.
We opened the show.
That’s never easy. The room is cold, the audience still searching for rhythm. But that’s where you step in and take control.
Together with Luigi, I took the stage. Different languages, same message. Keep it real. Keep it sharp. Keep it Scapicchio.
Behind us, the work spoke louder than words.
Maestra Pina, Maestro Giuseppe, and Maestro Luca took the razors in hand and did what they do best — no shortcuts, no compromises. Just pure technique. Straight to the skin. Straight to the point.
This is not about tricks. This is about control, discipline, and respect for the craft.
During the day, we didn’t just perform — we built clarity.
We presented the structure of the Academy. Not as a concept, but as a path.
Level 1 in Bovino — where it starts. Tradition. Foundation.
Level 2 in Ghent (ROMAIN) — where it sharpens. Precision. Control.
Back to Bovino — where you earn your place as an Ambassador.
Yes, there are Masters around the world. Yes, they teach. But those are workshops — valuable, intense, real.
But if you want to grow within the Academy…
there is only one road: the official path.
No confusion. No shortcuts.
Then came the Scapicchio Trophy.
Pressure. Noise. Limited space. Tools not where you want them. Not your shop. Not your comfort zone.
Good.
That’s where you see who someone really is.
Technique was judged. Ergonomics. Structure. Final result. No hiding behind excuses. You either deliver — or you learn.
And that’s the point.
It was intense. Raw. Honest.
Between everything — the stand, the conversations, the questions — one thing became clear:
People are coming back to quality.
Not speed. Not hype. Not shortcuts.
Craft.
And that’s where we stand.
At the end of the day, we handed out the trophy. A strong moment. A deserved reward. But more than that — a signal.
This craft is alive. And it’s not going anywhere.
Respect to Mark & Miranda for building this platform the right way.
