Level 2 is the essential step toward becoming a Master Barber in the Scapicchio tradition. You will advance into freehand honing, full wedge and kamisori razors, and multiple honing techniques supported by theory. A unique program that brings you closer to true mastery of the craft.
What You Will Learn
You will advance into the deeper art of traditional barbering. You will master freehand honing techniques, refine your skills on full wedge razors, and be introduced to the precision of Japanese kamisori. Multiple honing methods are explored, supported by clear theoretical insights to strengthen your understanding. Alongside honing and razor work, the program also expands into professional services, advanced hygiene standards, and the refinement of customer experience. This unique combination of technique, theory, and service brings you closer to true mastery within the Scapicchio tradition.

It is designed for barbers who have already mastered the foundations of Level 1 and are ready to take the next step toward mastery. It is intended for professionals who want to refine their honing and shaving skills, expand their knowledge of advanced razors such as full wedge and kamisori, and elevate their standards in service, hygiene, and client care.

Freehand honing of Kamisori, full wedge, and hollow grind
Comparison of Western and Japanese methods

DIPLOMA
Upon completion, you will receive the official Scapicchio Accademia Level 2 DIPLOMA, directly recognized by the Scapicchio Family and respected worldwide.
